Walden has three governing documents. Use the Index to identify where to find information about frequently discussed topics.
Declaration of Covenants, Restrictions, and Easements - Provides a framework for association assessments (dues), states what each homeowner must legally abide by for their home exterior and lot, defines architectural standards, describes who is responsible for maintenance, and provides insurance and financial requirements
Bylaws - Sets out the framework for how the HOA operates, describes how the Board of Directors are elected, details what responsibilities and powers the Directors have, and includes the procedures for conducting meetings and making decisions
Rules and Regulations - Provides more specific guidance on day-to-day issues, such as outside vehicle parking; this document acts as a supplement to the Declaration but can never contradict it
All changes to exterior must be requested and approved by the Board of Directors prior to work commencing (painting, landscaping changes, shingle replacement, deck or patio installation, live tree removal, fence installation, shed installation, driveway changes, additions to your home, etc.). Email requests to Board@WaldenAssociation.org. This form can be used to submit your request: Request for Plan Review
To reserve the pool for a pool party print off a copy of the reservation form or see a pool attendant for a copy. Return the reservation form to the pool manager or pool attendant on duty.
