Walden Association commonly owns 22 acres of woods that can be enjoyed by all residents. The woods are home to many wildlife, including deer, wild turkey, raccoons, ducks, and fox. There are soft walking paths located throughout the woods and a hard walking path that runs from Welcome Lane through the woods to Parkwood Drive.

Pool
The Walden Association outdoor pool is located on the corner of Welcome Lane and Welcome Court. It is open Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting. The pool is free for residents to use and guests can accompany residents for a small fee.

Walden amenities are maintained using resident association dues and neighborhood volunteers.
